I feel like it has been months upon months since I have worn such a polished look. It's because I have not had the occasion to wear such looks. I've realized though I don't need an occasion to wear a more polished look. Sometimes it just feels good to dress up and that is exactly what happened with this black & white look. I put it on and loved it so much that I knew I wasn't going to WAIT to have an occasion to wear it. Instead, I just wore it on a random day of the week and it felt so good! I encourage you all to push yourself and dress up for no reason, but to put a smile on your face!

After my post earlier this week on green and now today's outfit post, you can see how obsessed I am with the color right now. Before now, I have never really owned much green and I am wondering why not. It's such a versatile color and I really love it in this more muted shade. The color feels feminine and classic, especially in a trench like this one. It's a piece I know I will be wearing all fall long!

I have been really into more muted, sage greens as of late and think the color is such a good transitional color as we move from Summer to Fall. I've pulled together some of my favorite pieces in this color along with some classic nude pieces that would look so good with these items. While Fall does not officially start until a few weeks from now, the cooler temperatures and changing of the leaves have already started here. This early Fall weather has me excited about Fall dressing and one piece I am loving for Fall are cozy cardigans. They can be worn as a sweater on their own or layered over a camisole or dress. Happy Friday all! I can't believe we are already at Labor Day weekend! Where has the time gone!?! I am very much looking forward to this weekend as we have a small getaway planned for my husband's birthday. The place is about an hour drive, and it will be the furtherest we have traveled since before the lockdown. It also will be our first time dining out. It should be a nice, relaxing getaway and a great way to celebrate my husband's birthday! Wishing you all a fantastic and relaxing Labor Day weekend!

With September here, the official start of Fall is that much closer. My Fall wardrobe is all about neutrals and layers as Fall temps can really vary. That's why I love a good neutral moto jacket for Fall and this one is so good! The color pairs with almost anything and the quality is amazing for the price. It's the perfect piece to wear layered over a dress or with a sweater and jeans. And, once it gets a cooler, I'll add a warm scarf.
