The last week in New York has been a scorcher with temperatures in the 90s almost everyday. When the weather gets this hot, it makes me crave lemonade. It’s so refreshing and to me is the quintessential summer drink. I like to make it at home following this easy recipe. To take it up a notch then, I add some fresh mint and serve with ice cubes frozen with blueberries and mint.

At the beginning of September, I’ll be traveling to Spain and Portugal for a little bit over a week, and I couldn’t be more excited! The weather there is expected to still feel like summer with temperatures in the 80s, so I plan on wearing lots of dresses to keep cool. This dress and this dress are both great options either would pair well with this neutral cross body and these sandals. As for jewelry, I plan to keep things simple overall, but also bring a few fun pieces like these tassel earrings to dress things up for dinners.

This summer has been flying by and it’s hard to believe we are already past the Fourth of July! Though summer feels half way over, I am not getting tired of dressing for the warm weather. My go-to has been lots of dresses and I love this navy off the shoulder option. It’s easy enough to just throw on without having to think much about your accessories. It’s perfect to wear to brunch or a day shopping with these sandals and for dinner, I’d pair it with these heels and this clutch.
