Since moving to the city three years ago, I have made it a tradition to go apple picking each Fall.  A couple weeks back, we made the trip out of the city to partake in this annual tradition. The weather was beautiful and the air crisp - perfect for the activity. We spent the day having lots of fun picking more than our share of apples, getting a couple pumpkins, and of course indulging in some apple cider donuts (my favorite!). For the occasion, I chose to keep my outfit simple with a plaid shirt, jeans, and booties. It's basics like these that keep my wardrobe going and become my go-to during the Fall.

There’s so many great sales going on right now, so I thought I would share some of my favorite pieces. This jacket is the perfect moody color for Fall. I already picked up this bracelet and am also thinking about getting this dress too! The scent of this candle sounds heavenly for fall and the simple lines of this clutch make it a classic. Fall is all about layering and one of my favorite ways to layer is with a vest. I have been on a vest hunt this Fall, looking for closet staples that pair well with my existing closet. I picked up this vest a couple weeks back and love it’s casual, yet structured look.
