This romper I purchased at the beginning of summer and it has been one of my most go-to pieces. I have worn it alone to lay in the park, like this to run errands, and with a blazer to dress it up for dinner. It has been such a versatile piece and has made me realize just how much I love rompers.

Over the weekend, my boyfriend and I went upstate to our alma mater, Cornell University, to attend our friends’ wedding. It was great to be back up in Ithaca and spend some time outside NYC. On Saturday, we had some free time, so we decided to visit a winery with friends. We did a little wine tasting followed by a little picnic lunch with some wine overlooking the lake. I ended up wearing this dress and my new favorite cross-body from Piperlime. I have recently been drawn to lots of black and white and I have a love of stripes, so this stripe on stripe combo perfectly incorporated some current favorites.

I’ve always stayed far away from green smoothies since the ones I had tried all tasted like I was drinking a salad. When my boyfriend suggested I make this smoothie based off one he would get at work, I was skeptical it would taste like the previous green smoothies. Instead, it was light and refreshing with none of that “green” flavor and has since become part of my daily breakfast.

I bought this shirt a couple weeks ago when shopping all the end of season sales and  it has been one of my best sale purchases. The gingham is ideal for summer and gives off a preppy chic vibe with its black and white tones. It has been just as easy to wear casually or a little more dressed up and I can’t wait to pair it with some leather come fall.

In the summertime, I always find myself drawn to bright colors and graphic prints. This dress brings together both, yet is still simple. And in the summer, when it is too warm to think about what to wear, there is nothing better than something simple.

I love so many things about this dress that when I first saw it here, I knew I had to have it. The blue color is a favorite and the flowy yet waist-defined style is perfect. I wore it over the weekend during the day to run some errands and then transitioned it easily to nighttime by just changing out my purse and shoes.
