Growing up, I always loved when my grandparents came to visit. I would get to hear stories about my grandparents and embarrassing stories about my dad, that he failed to tell us. It was also a time I would get to enjoy my grandmother's self created cookies, Swedish Kisses. Named after my grandmother’s Swedish heritage and the chocolate kiss at the center, these cookies were and still are a favorite. Made of a sweet almond cookie with powdered sugar on the outside and an unexpected chocolate kiss on the inside, these cookies are a wonderful treat.
