This time of year is always crazy. As soon as Christmas is over, New Years is only days away. And with that, I want to share a little champagne cocktail to celebrate the New Year. It is a simple cocktail with only three ingredients and incorporates the juice of the in-season blood orange. Mix this juice with some elderflower liqueur and top with champagne for a cocktail perfect for ringing in the New Year!
Happy Christmas Eve everyone! I arrived home just last night and could not be more excited to be home for the holidays. My family hosts both Christmas Eve and Day at our house, so I will be helping out with some last minute things today to get ready for our Christmas Eve festivities with my extended family. I will be taking off the rest of the week to enjoy my time with friends and family while celebrating the holidays (and I hope you do too). I wish you all a Merry Christmas with your friends and family!

Growing up, snowflake making was something I always did around the holiday season. It was a fun activity and the result would leave you beautiful paper snowflakes. Fast forward years later, and Make-a-Flake will let you make virtual snowflakes. And, once finished you can download the snowflake you created and cut it out in the paper form. How cool is that?
The Valentino Rockstud pump is a gorgeous shoe! It has a feminine silhouette that is balanced out with its stud detail and is versatile enough to wear with more than a few outfits. However at a steep price tag, it can be hard to justify the cost even if you do wear them all the time. At a fraction of the cost though, Schutz has shoe that looks very similar to the Valentino Rockstud. It has the same style appeal, but is much friendlier on your wallet.
With one week until Christmas, I wanted to share some DIY gift ideas. All of them are easy to make and will show your loved ones just how much you care by giving them something you made. Just click on the links below to see how to make each idea.
1. Etched Cocktail Glasses
2. Dainty Necklace
3. Striped Clutch
4. Caramels
New York is a magical place during the holidays. The entire city adopts the holiday spirit with lots of lights and decorations to celebrate the time of the year. From the famous Rockefeller Christmas tree to spectacular windows at department stores, the city goes all out. This year while taking in the decorations, I took lots of pictures and thought I would share them as not everyone is lucky enough to have the opportunity to see the stunning designs. I hope you enjoy!
