This time of year is always crazy. As soon as Christmas is over, New Years is only days away. And with that, I want to share a little champagne cocktail to celebrate the New Year. It is a simple cocktail with only three ingredients and incorporates the juice of the in-season blood orange. Mix this juice with some elderflower liqueur and top with champagne for a cocktail perfect for ringing in the New Year!
Happy Christmas Eve everyone! I arrived home just last night and could not be more excited to be home for the holidays. My family hosts both Christmas Eve and Day at our house, so I will be helping out with some last minute things today to get ready for our Christmas Eve festivities with my extended family. I will be taking off the rest of the week to enjoy my time with friends and family while celebrating the holidays (and I hope you do too). Growing up, snowflake making was something I always did around the holiday season. It was a fun activity and the result would leave you beautiful paper snowflakes. New York is a magical place during the holidays. The entire city adopts the holiday spirit with lots of lights and decorations to celebrate the time of the year. From the famous Rockefeller Christmas tree to spectacular windows at department stores, the city goes all out.
