A denim jacket is a staple for me in the summer. It goes with everything and is easy to throw on over dresses, skirts, and shorts. The recent summer heat though has made wearing my denim jacket just a bit too toasty. To adjust, I turned to another summer favorite: my denim vest. It adds the perfect finishing layer like my jacket, but it lets me keep cool in the heat. It is also the best way to add a little edge to any outfit.
